Note to Readers II
TFP takes a two-week summer vacation, and recommends the magical Deborah J. Stein.
Last week I wrote a note to readers saying it’s natural and good and necessary to take time off, maybe even sit still and be silent for awhile, and listen to the voices around you. The voice I’m listening to this week is Deborah Stein’s, a magical painter, writer, and—lucky for me—a dear friend. Her Substack, Sometimes a Ghost, haunts me in all the best ways. Her mind and heart are like her paintings and writing—honest, joyful, heartbreaking, and miraculous. I can’t get enough of everything she does. Check out one of my favorite posts below. Go head. Get haunted too. —MJ
